The ARMv8 architecture supports hardware accelerated crypto extensions for building a secure system. As expected, we could see very decent openSSL performance with ODROID-C4. Windows for Arm may bring better wine support (or, better said more native ARM apps), but running wine at this point isn't for the faint-hearted. Thanks to the modern 12nm fabricated S905X3 CPU, the power consumption and heat dissipation are very low, allowing you to enjoy a quiet and powerful computer with high energy efficiency. Many may argue, that the "evolving ODROID products" actually triggered RPi to get out of their shell and do some progress of their own (and by now there are many other competitors on the market that also trigger RPi).

The specs were still much lower than that of the ODROID C1 but hey, at least the did something, right? Here is a demo video with Ubuntu 20.04 Minimal + Linux kernel 5.4 + Flutter UI + direct GPIO access What do you mean by they said they don't maintain releases on the forum? Perhaps there is something that can be done to improve this.
