I'm a home builder and have used laser levels since they came out, mostly for conventional leveling tasks. Fantastic but of kit and wouldn’t be without it on an install only issue I find is the laser isn’t the best in the daylight but to be expected really.

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . I have other dewalt tools and the laser seems pretty expensive (there are a few dewalt models available) but worth the money. The laser is self-levelling up to 4°, and it’s protected by an overmolded housing along with thick glass – as well as improving the tool’s strength and durability, this helps to maintain calibration under jobsite conditions too.This was the first laser level I bought probably around 7 years ago and it is still going strong today. This green cross line laser projects bright crossing horizontal and vertical lines for various leveling and layout applications. Brilliant laser level I use it more than my normal level and if you use it with a tripod it can be used for so many diffeeent jobs!

I tried to level something on the floor couldn't quite get it to work unless it's me but it's great for walls and fits perfectly on tri pod.Instead of relying on using spirit levels, which are only as good as the guy reading the bubble, This laser puts instantly visible horizontal and vertical lines wherever you need them, and in places where you could not put a conventional level.

I trust it to the extent that I don’t double check with a spirit level until later in the job and it’s always been accurate. Used this to double check the level of a wall i built using a my spirit level and ended up being out by a bit so this thing really saved the day! It also features automatic out of level indication and indoor visibility range up to 20m (or 50m with detector).

Been using it on first fixing, clipping for pipework at high level in corridors, set it up and away you go.
